buddysally: Unfortunately this is the third time this cache has gone missing. Not sure why, as this isn't a highly travelled area, but perhaps the residents near by don't appreciate people walking in the woods near their homes, or the critters have been collecting cache containers.

Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the given coordinates. The cache is hidden in a small wooded area with parking close by. It deserves a terrain rating of 2 because of a small steep ditch that needs to be crossed to access the cache.

The name BERT means "Bright". Boy, did they ever get that one right!!! I have a wonderful geofriend, BERT, venturer_catt, who certainly lives up to his name. The complex math, calculations or logic problems are never troublesome for him. As a scout leader, he has made tremendous, selfless contributions to his community by guiding and shaping our youth. When we cache together not only do we share an enjoyment of nature, exercise and the game, but I feel protected and safe, for which I am eternally grateful. This cache is a tribute to BERT and a heartfelt thankyou.
