Geocache Description:

Camoflaged Micro container in a public area.  No need to disturb the memorial or landscaping.

The  nearby Cleveland County Veteran's Memorial was dedicated on November 11, 2008. The memorial is gratefully and respectfully dedicated to the men and women of Cleveland County who have valiantly served in the military services on behalf of the State of Oklahoma and the United States of America. The granite plaza includes a five-pointed star approximately 30 feet across. Each point of the star represents a branch of the United States Armed Forces. At the center of the star is a large granite pentagon that is topped by a bronze eagle. The walls of the centerpiece bear the names of those who lost their life in service to our country. Two of these names are fellow "Heavy Assault!!" crewmen who perished in the crash of Ch-47 267 call-sign Red River 44. They as well as all others named on the center oblisk gave all.   The names of all other Veterans are on smaller granite tablets that form a wall around the plaza.

There are so many cemetary and memorial caches that Alice and I thought this place, though neither creepy or abandoned, was indeed special to us and to everyone.  It certainly needs a cache.
Happy hunting!

"To fallen Commrads, lest we forget".
