Geocache Description:

Cache is just off the Trans Canada trail. Trail is freshly laid gravel with some softer areas. It is suitable for walking or biking. Trailhead and parking at N 50°08.694, W 095°54.059.

Cache is a small clear lock-n-lock container with pins to trade, and a looney for the first to find.  We want to encourage geocachers to check out the Pinawa section of the Trans Canada Trail. The trail can be accessed from various points in Pinawa but parking is available at the Pinawa Sundial right across from the marina. This trek can take you all the way to the Seven Sisters Power Dam.  Take some time to observe and listen to some of the many birds in the area, as the trail has been designated as part of the International Pine to Prairie birding trail.  Other wildlife may also share your surroundings.  Watch out for poison ivy when venturing into the bush.
