Several plant have been planted in the garden.
- The palm family extends to 10 types like Below, and Phoenix which grow wild in Aoshima
- Sub-tropical flowers and trees species like bougainvillea, hibiscus, Deigo America, etc.
- A banyan tree-lined which located in the main gate
- Tropical fruit macadamia nuts, guava, etc.
Moreover, in the large greenhouse, palms such as "Tokkuriyashi" and the King palm, fruit trees such as mango and papaya, are planted, and a tropical atmosphere can be experienced.
In the flower bed inside the garden, various flowers are in bloom through the four seasons.
There is also Takashi Nagatsuka's monument inscribed with a tanka, and the cache is hidden in the place about 15m away from this monument.

Cacheを青島亜熱帯植物園に置きました。
園内には青島に自生するビロウ、フェニックスなど１０種類にも及ぶヤシ科の植物が植えられ、亜熱帯花木類はブーゲンビリア、ハイビスカス、アメリカデイゴ、その他多数植えられ、正門にはアコウ並木などがあります。
熱帯果樹はマカダミアナッツ、グァバ等の実を鑑賞することができます。 また、大温室内にはトックリヤシ、大王ヤシなどのヤシ類や、マンゴー、パパイヤ等の果樹類が植えられておりトロピカルな雰囲気を味わうことができます。園内の花壇には四季を通してさまざまな花が咲いています。
園内には長塚節(ながつか たかし)の歌碑もあり、Cacheは、歌碑から15ｍほど離れた所に隠されています。
