Backstory: As an LA Co. golf course, Los Verdes must be the best golf value in the U.S. Los Verdes handles the 2nd-most golfers of all courses in the nation most years (behind one in Hawaii). Views of the Pacific from all 18 holes. Because I average 1 day a week here, I decided Los Verdes is figuratively a part of St. Hart's 'Hood. The tip sheet for setting up shots and avoiding hidden perils says for hole #15 "From the green, don't stare at Catalina too long." Love it!

Almost a Park-and-Grab. A minor variant on an easy-but-classic type of hide. I wanted to place one of these with the rest of my caches a few months ago in the Hollywood Riviera but I found no appropriate location. There is some muggle-exposure risk but I picked the least likely place. Early morning and after dark will be best to avoid muggles (and views, unfortunately), but please be on the lookout at all times anyway; golfers never linger at their cars long, so be patient.
Starts out with some "valuable" trading coins – a $, an Alaska 50-year commemorative, a "gold" doubloon, & a Mulligan's token. Take something, leave something. Small trackables such as geocoins welcome.
