On Rock Creek Road, in the Coopernook State Forest, there is a delighful creek and waterhole. Probably best appreciated on a hot summer's day, but great photographic possibilities at anytime. Please Note: This is NOT on the Mid North Coast Wander, and in fact you will be going the wrong way.
Even on placement of the cache I almost took a 'dive' / FALL into the pool below, which is deep enough that I wouldn't have been hurt, but it was too cold for me! So take care on going down the track / mud slide. Bring your CAMERA along. If you are camping in the area may I suggest that find the cache in the daytime, but come back at night-time with a tripod, and get some photos of the brilliant glowworms here !!! You may want to hold onto something or someone, as it is disorienting with so many star-like lights, and its hard to workout which way is up!
The dangerous area attribute is to remind you to be careful on the track.
