This cache was placed to encourage more visitors to the Sauer's Mountain Cross Cache. It's roughly 1/3 of the way in and gives you a 2 For 1 Hike benefit that hopefully will inspire less enthusiastic hikers. Those who have the right vehicle and the right skill can drive right to the cache. There are turn arounds available.
This trail runs through Renfrew County Forrest and leads to the top of Sauers Mountain. It starts as a single track road but will eventually dwindle to a an off road vehicle track and trail. The entrance off the highway is at N45 34.473 and W077 19.946.
I usually park at the posted parking coordinates but more daring people with the right vehicle could drive to this cache. This portion of the trail to the cache is a very gradual uphill. The steeper trail comes afterwards. Cache is a large camoed container and contains items of interest to young children if your bringing them along. And as you've come this far, you really should go for the view from Sauers Moutain Cross as well.
