After the successes of 10-10-10 and 11-11-11 and the forthcoming 12-12-12 event (GC3NBJ0), I have had the idea of doing a ‘following on’ event i.e. 10-11-12, making this event on Saturday 10th November 2012. Also, it is just another excuse for an evening meet and get-together.
The event is at The Eastham Ferry Hotel, Eastham CH62 0AU where a successful previous event has been held. We will be meeting from 5 pm onwards until the LTL (Last to Leave) goes home. Food is served and a menu can be found from the hotels website. There are many offers which are ongoing such as the Two for One on food - when two people each order a main course from the Two for One section of our menu or specials board, the lower priced meal will be free of charge.
I will be holding a free raffle (to save your pennies!), to which donations would be gladly accepted. Following on, there will be a general knowledge geocaching quiz so you’d better get researching! On my table there will also be an extremely difficult wooden puzzle for you to try and dismantle and then put it back together. Prizes will be awarded for the person who completes one of the two tasks. We will be in the same little area as last time and for those that weren’t there, it’s the first area to the right of the doors when you walk in. During the day, there may also be some new caches going live.
