[ST] Tempus fugit: Le Meridiane di Borgaretto
Borgaretto è il paese natale di Elokia. Località assolutamente poco interessante fino a qualche anno fa, di recente ha acquistato un certo “fascino” per il notevole incremento delle meridiane, dipinte in gran parte da una ragazza del posto.
Abbiamo quindi deciso di dedicare a queste opere la nostra multicache, che vi guiderà in un giro turistico di questo tipico insediamento della periferia torinese.
Dato che sul punto finale il segnale GPS non è preciso, usate lo spoiler.
La cache è accessibile tutti i giorni dalle 7:30 alle 19
Step 1:
La villa è una delle prime costruzioni di Borgaretto. Faceva parte di una grande cascina e ospitava la farmacia. Oggi è un’abitazione privata.
Se avete la vista buona (oppure un binocolo), individuate l’oggetto al centro della meridiana e contate le punte.
Se non ci vedete abbastanza bene (o non avete binocolo), osservate i cartelli sulla sinistra, vicino al muro della villa. Sul cartello centrale, contate le lettere della località fra parentesi.
Otterrete il numero A.
Le coordinate per il secondo step sono:

Step 2:
Anche questa villa, oggi abitazione privata, faceva parte di una grande cascina. Il proprietario, che abbiamo incontrato durante il sopralluogo, garantisce che la meridiana è funzionante. È stata realizzata da due ragazzi di Rivoli (TO).
Individuate il numero romano vicino al segno zodiacale della Bilancia.
Otterrete il numero B.
Le coordinate per il terzo step sono:

Step 3:
Qui è cresciuta la ragazza che dipinge le meridiane: infatti ha disegnato la prima proprio sul muro di casa sua.
Individuate l’anno di realizzazione della meridiana: otterrete il numero C.

Step 4:
Un’altra opera dell’artista dello step 3.
Leggete il motto e contate le lettere dell’ultima parola. Otterrete il numero D.

Osservando la meridiana, annotate il secondo numero partendo dall’alto: Otterrete il numero E.

Osservando la meridiana, annotate il numero a destra della campana. Otterrete il numero F.
Le coordinate per il settimo step sono:

Le coordinate per l’ottavo step sono:

Meridiana realizzata dagli stessi artisti di quella allo step 2.
Leggete il motto e contate le lettere dell’ultima parola. Otterrete il numero H.

Step 9:
Per vedere la meridiana dovere sbirciare fra le sbarre del cancello. Per ottenere il numero J, osservate cosa è disegnato in basso a destra e:
se è un animale J=249

se è un oggetto J=235

A nostro avviso, la più bella di tutte!
Leggete il motto e contate le lettere della prima parola. Otterrete il numero K, che vi porterà alla cache!

Le nostre cache
Dato che il Geocaching deve essere un divertimento per tutti, le nostre cache presentano una difficoltà crescente:
- se siete bravissimi, basatevi solo sulle coordinate e la vostra soddisfazione sarà notevole!
- se le coordinate non sono precisissime (può capitare), usate l'hint per un piccolo aiuto
- se non volete impazzire troppo oppure se non trovate la cache, guardate la foto spoiler ed il successo (a meno di babbani impiccioni o ladruncoli) è assicurato!

[ST] Tempus fugit: Borgaretto Sundials
Elokia was born in Borgaretto. Not a very interesting place, to be honest, but in recent years has become a bit more fascinating because of an awkward increase in sundials - most of them painted by a local girl.
We then decided to create this multicache: enjoy your visit to a typical suburb of Turin!
Because the GPS signal on final is not so good, please use the spoiler picture.
The cache is accessible everyday from 7:30 AM to 7 PM
Step 1:
This villa in one of the oldest buildings in Borgaretto; it was home of the first pharmacy. Now is a private house.
If you have binoculars or an excellent view, spot the object in the middle of the sundial and count its points.
If you don’t have binoculars or such a good view, observe the road signals on your left, near the villa gate. On the central panel, count the letters of the town written in brackets.
You will get number A.

Step 2:
We met the villa owner during our inspection to place the cache and he ensures the sundial is working properly. It was painted by two boys from Rivoli (TO).
Spot the roman number near the Zodiac symbol for Libra. You’ll get number B.

Step 3:
This is the house where the local sundial painter was born: as you can see she realized her first one on her own house!
Find in which year this sundial was made and you’ll get number C.

Read the motto and count the letters of last word. You’ll get number D.

General warning about our caches
We believe Geocaching must be an entertainment for everybody.
Our caches have a rising difficult rate:
- if you’re really smart, just follow coordinates and you’ll be rewarded!
- if coordinates are not so precise (it can happen), use the hint for a small help
- if you don’t want to spend much time or effort seeking, or you really cannot find the cache, take a look at the spoiler picture and (if there are no Muggles around and nobody stole the container) your log is granted, we promise!
