Geocache Description:

You are on a journey of epic proportions! This series of caches will take you from Happy Valley - Goose Bay all the way to and through each of the major capitals of Canada and its political sub-divisions that are reachable by road. The total distance, if you were to physically follow a road route would be about 15000kms!!

Of course, you won't really be travelling all that distance to complete this series! The distances between caches are approximately equal to a scale of 1:100, so you will travel about 150 kms from start to end of the series, and then have to return home, for a round trip from the Goose Bay end of about 300 kms. Even at this scale, this series is not to be taken lightly!!

Edmonton is home to North America's largest mall, the West Edmonton Mall, and it was the world's largest mall until 2004.

The distance between points is calculated using Google Earth. Pack up a lunch and head out for a summer vacation of caching while you complete the "Cross-Canada Capitals Trek", and get some idea of the size and scale of our country.

Originally the cache held some trinkets for trading and some (but not all!) of this series' containers had nice FTF items as well!

PLEASE: Make sure to return the container well-sealed and hidden as you found it or better for the next cacher!

NEXT STOP: Victoria, BC!!
