This cache is part of a walk around the edge of Nicky Nook. A small plastic tube. You will need your own pencil.
Nicky Nook is a prominent hill (215m above sea level) seen from the M6 and a very popular walk. A magnicifent viewpoint from the top - Blackpool Tower, Morecambe Bay, the Lakeland Fells, the Fylde, Ashton Memorial, Lancaster University, to name just a few. On the edge of the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, protected for its heather moorland, blanket bog and rare birds. Please take care when walking along the road between here and the Harrisend fell view cache.
