Proogs: Archived - really sorry, I forgot all about it :-) I might resurrect one nearby at some point, but for now, it's run its course...

Geocache Description:

Trafford Centenary Bridge - small micro/large nano sized.

The Centenary Bridge was opened in 1994 by Her Majesty the Queen; it was built to link Eccles and Trafford Park and allows, in particular, access for HGVs to and from the M602 and beyond from the industrial estate. The towers are 30 metres high, and the deck can be raised 15 metres up to allow passage of boats and ships on the Ship Canal. It is electrically powered and weighs 460 tons.

There don't seem to be many caches in Trafford Park - this is my attempt to remedy it a little. Who says an Industrial Estate can't be interesting? The cache is a large nano/small micro on an easily accessible part of the bridge by foot or bike. A more detailed description is in the hint below. If you need to park, there's a suggested place to park on the north side of the bridge - see the waypoint coords - but please don't block access. No pen - please bring your own, and replace the cache exactly where found! Thanks.
