A small cache hidden in a suburban park.
Hopefully a very easy find so kids will maintain the enthusiasm for geocaching!
Kalinga Park has a well known play area for kids including swings, treehouses, sandpits etc. People come from all over Brisbane to enjoy the facilities. Along with BBQ's and a dog off-leash area the western end of the park is often busy.
This Eastern end of Kalinga Park mostly serves the locals in the area, and as evidenced by the scraps of cardboard floating around, this hill is the BEST place for sliding! It's steep enough to pick up some speed but not so high that you tire of running back up for another go!
BYO cardboard or use one of the pieces lying around and have a slide.
(RBH emergency dept is only 10 mins away and they are great at fixing fractures! :) )
If you want to see slidin' action, (and have the download capacity), click on the webpage above! Congrats to Skibeagle for a FTF... and how funny I happened to be driving past at that very moment. Look forward to seeing the cardboard with the GT stripes!
