Golfer89: Now There's a Hole in One! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

I would like to thank Golfer89 for his numerous unique and interesting geocaches hidden in the Southern Tier. In particular I have enjoyed the variety of containers he has constructed and adapted to blend in and express the theme of his caches.

This cache is an ammo can I won at GC3E7PG on 5/5/12 at Cinco De Vaca and Cinco de Mayo, for the best camoed cache container. The cache that won the contest was my version of something I'd seen at a golfer89 cache. So, I decided to bring the ammo can north and hide it here.

There is some camouflage inside the can, and you will have to search a bit to find the logsheet. Please, do not remove any of the camo or add another logsheet! There is no access to this cache from I-86. You should approach from Industrial Park drive.

My thanks also to HereisHowe68 for donating the ammo can.
