Welcome to Roosevelt Island Turbines (RITE Project),
I was walking around the Island (hunting caches 
) when I stopped by this shipping container and read about the project.
They have already installed and planning to install more underwater turbines to generate clean energy using the river's tidal changes, it's just like the wind turbines out there, this turbines are already running in the east channel of the East River
The project is unique in the world and the pilot project will generate 1mw

The cahe is a small container and can hold geocoins, small and flat TB's
Please push the container enough that the container or it's string it's not visible and not too deep that the next geocacher will not reach it...
