Mt. Duke (Ljuboten) is a favorite desitination of many mountain climbers through Europe. In winter, there is often more than one meter of snow covering most of the mountain. The hike up to the peak is physically challenging, and not for the faint of heart. The views from the summit are fantastic.
From the listed trailhead on the Kosovo side of the peak, the hike is approximately 2 miles (3.2 Km) to the top. The change in elevation is 2545 feet (775 meters) from start to summit. The summit is 8196 feet (2498 meters) high. The cache is located 70-80 meters south of the summit at an elevation of 8115 feet (2473 meters) high, just off the main trail. As you are traveling south (downhill) the cache will be off the trail to your right side.
You are looking for a small, well cammoed lock-in-lock tupper type container. It is well sheltered from the elements in its hiding place. It is also well hidden from muggles.
