This is my first cache placement, in a little wooded area in Willesborough. Known to local residents as 'Joey's Woods', there are footpaths leading through from the new housing estate off Gordon Road, avoiding the BMX track which currently resides in part of the wood. It is fairly steady underfoot, but could be muddy in areas in the winter. I would not recommend pushchairs or wheelchairs due to some narrow paths.
An old swimming pool in the Wood was closed in 1938, but it is unclear where exactly it was. You are looking for a small drawstring bag containing a clip top type container which has a medal for the FTF, a logbook, pen, Travel Bug and a few swappables.
Please return the pen to the container and place the whole thing back into it's bag in the hole and cover well. ** Well done to PPRDG0, BaCas and Little Miss Naughty for finding this one in the dark after publication! **
