My friends called this area "uptown" instead of downtown when I was in High School. Things changed since then, but many old historic buildings and storefronts have been saved with interesting stores, businesses or offices in them.
The container is a micro size. Rather than giving away too much information that would make this cache too easy, read the hint only if you have any trouble finding it. If you go a block toward Main Street, you can see a mural of some men sitting on a bench. I remember actually seeing those men on the bench almost every time I went by (over 35 yrs years ago). Caledonia continues to grow. The newest building in town is worth a visit - the Criminal Justice Center is just behind the nearby Courthouse. Permission for this cache was given by Eric, a nearby store owner.
