After living in Homestead ridge for 21 years we have seen alot of new development, mainly the clearing of the bushland for the wellard village housing estate and mandurah trainline. We are still lucky to have some walktrails left to go for a early morning or evening stroll and at times we still can see see kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, bobtails, correllas and in the warmer months alot of snakes. At night if you are looking for the cache you may get to see the tawny frogmouth owl...
