In May 1994 I went to Uruguay, South America for the Mormon church. I spent two years there meeting people, talking to them and learning Spanish. When I was in Uruguay, i had alot of fun with the kids there. From time to time kids (usually teenagers) would come running up to the Americans and say the only thing they could remember from their english classes. What time is it? Or what is your name? Instead of giving them an answer we would respond like we were trying to correct them by saying, What time is your name? Then they would get a funny look on their faces and whisper among themselves trying to figure out what we had said. It was alot of fun at the time..........seems sorta cruel now.
I have always enjoyed Spanish and I still try and keep my skills up whenever I get the chance. The food in Uruguay was pretty bland but one of my favorite meals was a stew with carrots, sWeEt PoTaToEs, onions, and other veggies along with some sort of stew meat.......I didn't ask any questions. My least favorite meal was polenta. disgusting, look it up.
I put alot of time and effort into this cache, and i hope people will respect that by returning it to its original state so that others can enjoy it as well.
