Phineas and Ferb...Dr Doofenshmirtz Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines:**You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing.**

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,
DalesmanX - (Email address)

Geocache Description:

I have had to change this as it kept getting muggled and disturbed. Sadly it has now had to be made substantially easier through lack of area to place it where I originally wanted it. :( You will need a pencil to sign the log.

Edlington Pit Wood is your community woodland that has been developed with the local community and partner organisations. Easily to get around on foot or bike, the cache is located on the flatter section of the Pit Wood. The difficulty rating is based on what the prickles and grasses might be like when we have had plenty of rain and sun.

The 37 1/2 hectare site has a lot to offer through a variety of trees, grasslands, wetlands and ponds and provides great views over the local countryside and Doncaster.

The park is situated off Broomhouse Lane, Edlington, Doncaster and comprises of:

  •
  • Car Park
  • Two ponds
  • Pond dipping platform
  • Benches
  • Walking and horse riding routes
  • Disabled access route
  • Interpretation panel

Dr Doofenshmirtz (Dr Doof) is a bit of a sneaky one, and as such his cache reflects this. I am going to put this as a tricky cache, only because of its sneakyness. At least, I hope it takes a little finding rather than my usual straight forward choice.
