Forest Access Roads serve to allow easier access to our provinces recreation trails and forests. The are maintained, to a greater or lesser degree, by the Forests, Fish and Wildlife Division of the provincial government. For the most part, they will not be maintained in the winter and will be muddy in the spring and after a heavy rainfall. Some will at times be very overgrown and possibly have downed trees blocking them. Hiking or snow shoeing is advised but if you decide to drive them you do so at your own risk!
The Dromore 3 forest access road starts at Dromore Road and intersects the central loop of the Dromore Woodland Trails. It is strait in and back, just over 1km in length and most likely undriveable at least part of the way. Most caches are between 1m and 2m from the ground and within a few meters of the road.
