Geocache Description:

A small log only cache. Cache placed for the NM Centennial: 4th Picnic in the Pines Event. This is part of a series of caches celebrating Manufacturing in New Mexico.

The cache you are looking for is a small white bison tube made out of Natural White Delrin.  This particular bison tube was machined on a Haas CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) lathe.

Quick Park and grab cache.

Natural White Delrin, referred to chemically as PolyOxyMethylene, are semi-crystalline engineering themoplastics made by the polymerization of formaldehyde. They have physical properties that are not available with metals or most other plastics; high mechanical strength and rigidity, low coefficients of friction, low moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, fatigue endurance, and resistance to abrasion and creep. These materials are also resistant to a wide range of solvents and have good electrical properties, which make them good for electrical applications.

One popular application for White Delrin is guitar picks.  The stark white makes it great for adding imagery on the picks.

Congratulations Co-FTF'ers bob8bear and the nodderbugs~Thanks!
