This cache has been archived.

Professor Xavier: This cache has now been unavailable for 11 months and has not been maintained despite the CO saying they would nearly a month ago.

I am therefore archiving this cache for non-maintenance.

Geocache Description:

No longer a complete tree and not so easy to see why it got its name for this cache. But as this is our first cache we've returned the container to its hiding place in the hope it will continue to be found and not get muggled rather than archive it.

Congratulations and well done to V8Vantage for being the FTF ... We hope you liked your little surprise for being FTF and thank you for taking our first TB from our first cache to begin its journey. A short walk from the nearby parking co-ordinates detailed. The cache is on one of the many foot/cycle paths in the area and is accessible by foot, cycle and even wheelchair (from parking co-ordinates at least). You are looking for a small plastic container, there is room for a couple of small swap items and small trackables. There is a small pencil in the container and all other contents have been palced into a sealable plastic bag, but it might be worth taking your own pen/pencil just in case. This is our first time hiding a Geocache, so we hope you like it and we would be grateful for any feedback you might have about the cache; be it about its hiding place, the information about it, co-ordinate accuracy - which has been averaged out over six readings on different days and times, so will hopefully lead you straight to the cache! The area is relatively muggle free, although the footpath is well used by joggers, cyclists and local walkers with and without dogs. If you don't park at the suggested parking, you might have to cross a train track or two. If you have to do this, please, please, PLEASE, be careful when doing so and only cross when it is safe to do so. At least one of the tracks uses a live third rail, so please do not stand on any of the tracks as you cross them. You are looking for a tree that crosses over the footpath and has what looks like the classic cartoon mouse doorway on one side of it, hence the name of the cache. This is more visible when approaching from the South West. Please make sure you put the cache back exactly where you found it, thank you.
