Geocache Description:

A multi in the Great Swamp to commemorate my best friend's favorite place to gallop.

This multi will lead you throughout the Great Swamp where my pony, Cookie, and I would race through. Note, this cache starts a little past the parking lot but it is NOT A PARK AND GRAB. It will lead you deep within the swamp so appropriate hiking equipment is a must!

The stages will lead you down my favorite trail that I used to take with my pony. She passed late last year and I felt that placing a cache in one of our favorite places would be a great way remember the fun hours spent in the swamp.

I didn't really get into geocaching until right after she passed away and shortly discovered a beautiful geocoin in one of the first few caches I had found. The coin inspired me to keep hunting these trackables and I even based my final thesis project for RISD on the discovering and traveling of these coins. Therefore, I found 8 coins/trackables to represent the 8 wonderful years I had owned Cookie as a FTF prize, not to keep, but to add to your memory bank and move on. (:
