This cache is placed along the Maple Pass Loop trail. The views along this trail are amazing and this ridge has views of both Rainy Lake and Ann Lake as well as the views of several hundered peaks. The trail is a 8 mile loop that has a elevation gain of around 2200ft, well maintained and 99.9% snow free the day the cache was placed. The cache itself is a 30Cal ammo can that contains misc SWAG and a few survival items. An It is down a short spur trail that leads to a knoll that overlooks Ann Lake and Rainy Lake. A parking pass is required at the trailhead.
