We have been camping here at Woodward Reservoir with our friends for a few years now. They are retired and stay for 2 weeks at a time. We are still worker bees so we can only come for the weekend. On this camping trip with our friends, we decided to place a cache on the island. Nice sandy beach for parking your watercraft while searching for the cache. Have fun and be safe while on the lake.
Day use fee required for entry into the park. Watercraft required, too far to swim. Since it hasn't been found yet, we took a raft and paddled out to check it. Yep it's still there. It is in a huge tree on the east side of the island. If you are at the sandy beach it's the big tree on the left. Happy caching!
