My son is wanting to hide a series of caches named after celebrities. This is his first, named after the musical act Owl City. We also had an owl swoop down on us a few years ago while driving not far from here, hence the double meaning.
As of 12-4-2022, this is a small cylindrical container with room for small trading items.
Please be careful not to dislodge this "flying owl" from his "perch". It is just off the walking trail. Cachers should not have to descend the hill toward the creek; this cache is visible prior to going down the hill. Beware of thorns--long pants are suggested. And watch for owls!
This was originally a camo-covered pill bottle, then in 2016 was changed to a medium-sized cylindrical container.
