Do this in daylight hours only!!
This is another in my continuing summer time TSC series where I am protesting those caches that are hidden where you are guaranteed to pick up some of "Those Stinking Chiggers"!!
Have fun and thank me for those ankles you're not having to scratch!
I don't know how many times I have driven by here and never noticed this place before, until about a month ago. This park is named after Alan Fletcher, a Little Rock youth, who died of a viral infection only a month after his 9th birthday. The Little Rock School District turned down a request to name a ball field at Fletcher’s School, McDermott Elementary, in his memory. So, Don Fletcher, Alan’s father, then set his sights on getting a new park the City of Little Rock was creating named after his son. The Parks and Recreation Department staff thought it was a good idea, and so Mr. Fletcher donated the $3,010 that had been given in memorials for Alan to the Parks and Recreation Department for the parks use.
