Geocache Description:

CONTAINER TYPE: Diabetic Strip Container

Welcome to the Team Trunk Monkey Turnpike - "TTMT"
This series of caches runs along this stretch of 4-lane road, which features a wide paved shoulder along it's entire course. These caches will all be on the South / East side of the road. There will be caches of several different sizes and types, and the hiding spots will vary in difficulty and terrain, as the locations allow. As such, several of these caches will have you walking through tall grass & looking through vegetation. During the "tick season" it is highly recommended to use a quality insect repellent, and as always if it is sunny out, use a good sunblock too.

Clyde

Name: Clyde
Film: Every Which Way But Loose (1978)
Great Ape Quality: Friendship (and that right hook)

Clint Eastwood's freewheeling 1978 romp Every Which Way But Loose (and its sequel, Any Which Way You Can, which starred a different orangutan actor) wouldn't be half as fun a joyride without Clyde the orangutan around to lighten the already light mood as the primate sidekick to Eastwood's brawling drifter Philo Beddoe.

Manis was the trained orangutan that played Clyde, Clint Eastwood's orangutan sidekick from the 1978 box office hit Every Which Way But Loose. Its 1980 sequel, Any Which Way You Can (1980), did not feature Manis, as he had grown too much between productions. The orangutan that played Clyde in the second film died of a cerebral hemorrhage shortly after the film wrapped.
