Geocache Description:

Decon Container, camoed

I was out in Almaden Quicksilver hiking the New Almaden Trail from the Mockingbirdhill entrance on a maintenance run for some of my caches. While out here, I decided to place one.

Some cachers like to hike for exercise here, especially if they have found all the caches already. This cache is for those who still want a cache incentive to get some exercise.  Of course, this is great for those who have not found the caches in this unique county park.

If you come from the Mockingbirdhill entrance as I did, it is just over 2 miles, approximately. Not sure how far from the Web Canyon entrance, but it somewhere around the same distance. The New Almaden Trail is a single -file trail with lots of ups and downs, wooden bridges and many rocks and bumps along the way. I know. I trip on them now and then :)

Please observe park hours...8:00am - Sunset. No fee. The terrain rating is 2.5 due to ups and downs and switchbacks
