To clear up an issue here. When you get to the starting spot you will see a sign that indicates who manages the land and what is allowed on the land. The people who indicated to me that it was alright to place caches here told me that as long as we are not shooting back here or dumping garbage that they do not care about what time we are here, day or night. I was told to "cache away and have fun back there". Be careful, have fun and good luck caching.

Was out looking around the area and stopped to see what I could see. As I stood there and listened I realized that I heard a very strange CHIRPING noise. It took a bit but I figured out how to determine which sort of bird it was making the CHIRPING noise. I was not able to see the bird in question (and I would appreciate it if you would not bother it either as I would like to have this CHIRPer around for as long as possible) but I could "hear" it if I stood still for a few seconds.

This is in an area that is open to hunting during the hunting season so if you choose to go after it then please be safe. I have heard wolves and other things out here and have heard from sources that occasionally cougars walk through this area following the power lines so keep your eyes open. Bring your Geo-Mutt at your own risk. I spoke to the person who manages this land (you will know what I mean when you get here) and they are OK with geocaching but no shooting or etc please.
