Wood Lake County Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

eaglebear10: I have decided to archive this cache after the response I got from the person that informed me they took the cache to show their kids and decided to keep it. I told them that I had to take it offline now and they defeated the purpose of geocaching, thus taking away the fun for others to find.
Maybe in the future I will put another one out, but at this time, I am sour toward the rudeness.

Geocache Description:

Wood Lake County Park located in North Eastern Taylor County

This is an easy Park and Grab cache for anyone who wants a quick find. Located on the "beach" side, this cache is ultimately a bison tube hidden inside a container not to be obvious for its location. You will need to bring your own pencill. At this location is a swimming beach, a pavillion and numerous grill sites for picnics. There is also a drilled well and bathrooms.

Located on the other half of this area is camp sites (10+) and more bathrooms, a drilled well and boat landing. Come and grab this cache, bring your picnic or a fishing pole. Note though...if you bring a boat, there are no combustion engines allowed on Wood Lake. Also, please note that this park is not plowed come winter time. If you want to collect this cache after the snow falls, I suggest either snow shoes or skis and make your way into the cache location. Please hide exactly like you found it...as this is a very public area.
