Geocache Description:

Brown jar with a Geo label. There is a log, pen and swag. Room for TB's and other stuff.

This is the site of Kamakura, an excellent Japanese restaurant which was here from the mid-80's for almost 20 years. Fantastic atmosphere and usually very crowded. Kato-san, the proprietor, prepared the meals there every night and very often came out to be sure you were satisfied with the meal. His entire family worked there. too.
The building was unique in that it it was constructed in the typical fashion of buildings in the Kamakura region of Japan - not a single nail or screw! Everything was held together by closely mitered joints and wooden dowels and pegs. If you didn't know, you wouldn't be able to tell. Solid as a rock.
We miss this place - it was really cool.
