Geocache Description:

VETERANS DAY 2012.

With the success of last years event, we're back for another get-together on the white sandy beaches of Lake Nippenicket.

Join us around the fire on the beach in the Harry C. Darling Wild Life Area along the west bank of Lake Nippenicket (the Nip) from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (?). It's easy to reach by either land or by water.

If driving, follow Chace Road in Raynham to the end, continue through the gate on to Black Mallard Road to the parking area. If coming by water, it's a quick paddle over from the boat ramp off of Route 104 on the Bridgewater side.
This is on for rain or shine. Should the weather not cooperate there'll be shelter from the rain. We'll supply everything for the burgers and dogs, as well as hot coffee. We'll have some chairs also, but feel free to bring one along. Should the wind be too much, we'll muster in the parking area.
