Cecilia Beaux (1855-1942) was an American society painter in the manor of John Singer Sargent. Beaux was born in Philadelphia, PA and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of FIne Arts in 1876 under the influence of Thomas Eakins. In 1899, Merritt Chase stated "Miss. Beaux is not only the greatest living woman painter, but the best that has ever lived. Miss. Beau has done away entirely with sex (gender) in art"
Though rarely used, this location gives an excellent view of the mountains and wildlife. I saw a hawk while spotting the location of the cache. Congrats to BrianandStacey on their FTF. WARNING: A NUMBER OF TRACKABLES HAVE GONE MISSING FROM THIS CACHE, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LEAVING ANY HERE!
