Maxwell escaped the leash and bounded down the trail.
Maxwell is a frisky little devil and got out of sight almost immediately. A fellow walker spotted Maxwell heading off the trail in pursuit of some sort of animal and pointed us in the right direction. Actually I think he was looking for a place to "relax" for a minute....
Sure enough there he was by a small tree...looking up at us sheepishly..."Come here Maxwell!!"..and he slowly came back to be re-leashed and off we went down the trail...
You are looking for the tree that Maxwell visited...there you will find the "container" with the log....Difficult in the snow.
This is a familiar area if you have done any of the Shady's Pond caches....If not why not?
Trail access is behind a public housing development on Lexington St. or about 50 feet up the public access road to Bishops Forest...Although the BF access is kind of hidden...Enjoy the stroll...Bring a pen!.
