Geocache Description:

キャッシュは川原神社の境内にあります。

川原神社は名古屋市昭和区にある神社です。

平安時代初期の年中行事や制度などを記した「延喜式」に載る「愛智郡川原神社」にあたるとされる格式の高い神社で、日神、埴山姫命、罔象女命の三神を祀っています。
創建年代は明らかでありませんが、鎮火の神として知られています。
戦災にあい、昭和２８年再建されました。
境内に大きな池があって、弁財天を祀っているところから、「川名弁天」の名で知られています。

Kawahara shrine is a shrine located in Showa-ku, Nagoya.
That the shrine is called "Kawana Benten" because Benten is enshrined in the temple pond.
