Geocache Description:


Seeing that we've been hiding so many micro caches lately, we decided to go a little bigger this time. So this cache is dedicated to all the little kiddies and the young at heart. That's not to say that it's going to be drop dead easy though. What fun would that be? This cache is an ammo can that has been painted brown. It is located on one of the great trails in the preserved parkland behind the Grand Traverse Commons. Any of the trails will get you there eventually.  The Tanglewood Trail trailhead is an option, parking in lot K of Munson Medical Center, but that trail has a pretty steep climb in the begining. There is also the Cedar Cathedral trailhead, the Oleson's Trail, and a path behind Left Foot Charley. However you choose to get there, you should not have to leave the path to retrieve this cache. At the moment it's packed full of goodies for the kiddies(and others), so bring something to trade or drop off. Beware of muggles! They can appear quite suddenly. Please take care to replace anything that you may have moved while searching for the cache. You don't want to ruin the fun for the next person. Good luck!
