There is a new, lovely trail up Stone Mountain. Start up the North Trail for Burnt Meadow Mountain, then either take the new Twin Brooks Trail to the Stone Mt. Trailhead, or continue up to the summit of Burnt Meadow and take the Twin Brook Trail down from there. The Stone Mountain Trail takes you slowly up to the summit with easy switchbacks. The only view is from the south ledges.
A small plastic container buried in a little pile of....stones! Enjoy the view to the south and east.
