Geocache Description:

It seems the duty of every Masonic Geocacher to place a cache somewhere near his lodge. Who am I to break with that tradition?

Acacia Lodge has been in its present location since 1956, when this lodge was dedicated as Acacia Lodge #47. In 2001, Buckeye Lodge #42 and Acacia merged to form Acacia Lodge #42, Free and Accepted Masons. This building is also home to the Raceway Elks Lodge #2852, Order of the Eastern Star #46 and several other organizations that call this lodge home. Being dedicated in 1956, it is one of the older non-residential buildings still standing in Avondale and has been a part of Avondale's history and growth.

The container hidden here is a small micro with only room for a log. Bring your own writing instrument. A typical cacher's TOTT might come in useful as well! It is concealed where it can be reached without having to climb over the fence.

High muggle area. Please be careful so as not to call attention to what you're doing.
