Geocache Description:

IMPORTANT: Although this geocache is available 24/7, it is BEST enjoyed Tues, Wed, Fri, and Saturday from 10am-4pm.

Geocaching lets us discover hidden gems in our everyday world.  Similarly, this geocache will let you discover an amazing secret machine that most New Yorkers don't even know about.

George Rhoads is a world-renowned audio-kinetic sculptor, whose creative machines have appeared all over the world.  Unbeknownst to many New Yorkers, one of his delightful "Rube Goldberg"-like devices is housed in the lobby of the Forbes Galleries at 62 Fifth Avenue, steps away from this nano.

Once you find the cache, stop by and enjoy watching the rolling balls.  Take a picture while you're at it!  This machine is sort of like a juggler - if you watch long enough, it might just drop a ball.  NOTE 1: The machine has a motion-activator on its bottom left side so it doesn't waste electricity when people aren't watching it.  NOTE 2: Even if the Galleries are closed, you can still see the machine by walking up the ramp and looking inside the door.

Congrats to CassidyCarolyn for being the FTF and for an enjoyable log.
