Geocache Description:

Cache for Cassius commemorates our kitty who passed away recently at the age of 15. He was a very sweet kitty whom we inherited from my grandmother. There was nothing in the world he loved better than to sit on my grandmother's lap! You'll find a picture of him on the lid of the cache.

This cache also serves as a 'waypoint' for "Coburg Ridge" GC36XWZ. You'll find this container right outside that parking area, just off the trail We're including a picture that should be better than any hint! That bright light is coming from the parking area.

We've included some toys, some of those pocket heating things for the colder months, bandaids for accidents and blisters while hiking the area, and some FTF prizes (gift card, brand new nano container).

Important information:
- In summer, during the dry season, it is mandatory to carry a shovel and a gallon of water in case of fire. (Thanks QK-N-EZ and Dragon for the info)
- When hunting season is open (Sept. 29 to Nov. 2) - wear hunter orange. The road is temporarily closed right now at the first junction of McGowen Creek Rd. and Rd. 16-2-29 (at N 44 09.357 W 122 57.313). Long hike in right now (10.2 mi., 1400 elevation gain round trip). The security guy said they're doing culvert work and expect to be done within a week. (Thanks Terrkan78 for the info)
