When you come looking for this cache, be sure to allow time for a walk in the Conservation Area. It's especially pleasant in the autumn. If you come in the early morning, you may spy a beautiful blue heron fishing in the river or pond.
A beaver is living in the small pond below the dam, but he is very shy so you probably won't see him. [Update spring 2020: he's gone now.] However, if you cross the bridge that you can see from GZ and walk around to the other side of the lower pond, you can observe the stumps of trees he has cut down. He is an industrious little guy! See photos in the gallery.
