Geocache Description:

The Great Tulsa Suduku Challenge series is now but a memory, or is it?  You just can't keep a good cache down.  So many geocachers did not have a chance to compete this hard-to-maintain series I thought it only fitting to commemorate it by exposing the final location, and cache to everyone.

This exciting series of 17 caches had local geocachers chasing all over Tulsa from Pine to 81st Street, Peoria to 145th (Aspen for you BA types). Seeking out the "Givens" to begin solving the Sudoku Puzzle presented by OxFoxes.  I am now giving you the givens, and the original puzzle, suitable for printing, solving and framing.  But this will only be for your own puzzling pleasure, for the cache location is now revealed for all.

Take a walk in Mohawk Park's Oxley Nature Center, leave your dog at home.  Follow the Red Fox Trail to the infamous Red Fox Rest Stop.  From there take the Woodpecker trail to within 150' of your goal.  I really suggest you mark a waypoint before leaving the trail.  You can get turned around quickly out there in the thicket.  A nice large ammo box is waiting to be discovered.

Mohawk Park's gates open at 7 am and close at 9 pm! On weekends, April 1 -October 31, you'll need to bring $2/vehicle to enter Mohawk Park, unless you are a member of Friends of Oxley Nature Center or Zoo Friends. Pets are not allowed on the Nature Center trails, but leashed ones can enjoy other parts of Mohawk Park.
