This is the 14 Leadership Traits series that follows Vandegrift Blvd from Papagallo Dr to College Blvd. You can get over 50 caches in not too much distance (on a bike) if you start near Luiseno Park and follow this trail to the SLRRNT, and then loop back around the SLRRT.
The 14 Leadership Traits are taught to every Marine recruit and are good traits to be successful in life as well as in the military.
Dependability
Definition - The certainty of proper performance of duty.
Significance - The quality that permits a senior to assign a task to a junior with the understanding that it will be accomplished with minimum supervision.
Example - The squad leader ensures that his/her squad falls out in the proper uniform without having been told to by the platoon sergeant.
