As a tribute to our family's favorite holiday tradition we have decided to place a series of caches honoring the movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Each cache will pay homage to one of our favorite scenes from the movie. Why is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation one of the Buckeye Family's holiday traditions you ask? Sadly, it reminds us way too much of our own family gatherings. It also happens to be a hilarious movie. If you have not had the pleasure of viewing this holiday classic I suggest you rent it, pop some popcorn, and enjoy a good laugh.
We have arrived at the point of the movie that is one of Mr. Buckeye's favorites. Every year he tries to add more and more lights to our display ala Clark Griswold. Mrs. Buckeye assumes that Mr. Buckeye spends all day outside, just as Clark did, to avoid the family. In actuality he just loves doing it. This cache is located near a very important contributor to Christmas lights. Parking can be found within feet of the cache with very limited bushwhacking required. As always, enjoy and have fun!!
