Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the University of Alabama in a beautiful artsy quad near the center of campus. This area has several sculptural pieces and is just an all around neat place to sit and relax. Be sure to bring your camera for a fun photo opp.

This piece is known popularly as the “Fallen Iron Giant,” or Goldie 71 and is by Joe McCreary.

Watch out for muggles during class times and on football game weekends! Please replace the cache how you found it and bring your own pen or pencil.
