Re SELBAC Xmas dinner - Please remember to bring along your forms and monies to secure your place at the Xmas dinner at Toby Carvery on 4th December 2012... Yum, Yum! The money has to be paid ASAP to the venue to secure us the same area as we've enjoyed for the last two years.
Welcome to SELBAC (South East London, Bromley and Croydon)!! Have to say that some of our cachers do travel from further afield to join us. We shall be at The Rising Sun at Eden Park, Kent from 6:30pm until late! There's normally folk around until well after 10.30pm or later!!!
Experienced or not, this is an opportunity to meet with fellow geocachers and chat about all things caching. Discover and swap trackables and put faces to those names in the log books. It's the ideal place to find answers to those questions we all have!!!
If you've any unsolved puzzles maybe bring them along to see if someone else can help with them.
There is wheel chair access at the venue and children are very welcome as long as they are supervised.
Freshly cooked, hot food available at reasonable cost and sandwiches and soup also available.
The nearest train stations are Elmers End or Eden Park which are only 20-25 minutes from London Bridge, it is then a 10 minute walk from either station. The trams also stop at Elmers End (from East Croydon). The bus stop outside is for the 194, 356 and 358 buses and there is a large car park to the rear of the pub.
Please feel very welcome to come along especially if you are new. We are a friendly bunch and you will feel among friends once you walk through the door. We have our own enclosed area at the end of the bar!!
