A nice easy quick park and grab along Slough Road to Devereux School (I believe it's now part of the UCSB West campus).
This area is posted as University property and that a parking permit is required. There is a parking area across from the cache site that I don't believe requires a parking permit if you're only there for a short stop. Don't quote me on it though.
